As part of the 15th edition of Les journées de la culture / Culture Days, members of the PWAC (Professional Writers Association of Canada) will read from their published and award-winning works — fiction, non-fiction and poetry. It’s FREE!
The STC Montreal Chapter promotes the profession and practice of technical communication. The chapter hosts events that are open to all – members and non-members alike.

The Society for Technical Communication pledges to provide services to help its members practice at the highest possible level and to enhance the overall practice and status of the profession.
The Montreal Chapter is doing a fantastic job of meeting these goals, hosting an exciting and excellent array of workshops and seminars. To find out more about the chapter, I met with STC Montreal President Charles Roburn to talk about what is involved in the practice of technical communication, how to get started in the field, and how the STC works to support technical communicators here in Montreal.

The Montreal IATA office is looking for freelancers available for occasional commercial copywriting contracts.

Volunteer Canada is looking for journalists to develop French language content by covering volunteer and philanthropic events happening in Montreal and throughout Quebec.
Note: This is a contract position (paid on a per story basis), not a volunteer position.
